Web Sites
My web sites range from simple 5-page template-based sites for individuals to complex, multi-function sites for mid-size organizations. I specialize in web sites for individual and group practitioners (such as therapists, coaches, and clergy), portfolio sites for artists, and organizational sites for non-profits.
I have found that while the WordPress platform began as a blogging tool, it has now matured to a flexible and sophisticated starting point for many different functions –
- presenting images as portfolios and slide shows
- embedding sound and video files and interactive maps
- announcing events and, of course, blogging
- distributing downloadable documents
- making retail and ticket sales and receiving donations
- presenting contact and other interactive forms
- integrating with mailing programs like MailChimp and Constant Contact
